It Just hit me

You know as I was reading the horrors of Akkar, (and worried about the blogger Darko because he spends time there) and Future Movement tracked the wounded to the hospital and continued on them... it suddenly popped up for me why the SSNP burnt down the Future TV.

I know the SSNP never forget, so I think that is their way of paying back the Future TV after last year's January the Future Movement burnt their center in Tareeq el Jdeedi.

Hey MFL,

Yeah thats what some anonymous commentators on my blog were saying (they were defending the action as a reprisal).

But there is a difference between burning down a media outlet and burning down offices. In fact the FM had a number of its offices destroyed /burned.

The issue behind the targeting of the media goes deeper and goes to something that seems to have been pre-planned...with longer term objectives. Hence the reports that Amal/Hizballah militiamen took to the roofs of some buildings in order to destroy broadcast antennas and cut cable connections belonging to Future TV.

Man, this is terrible all around...

Will SSNP assassinate Sa`ad Hariri?? Since he talked about Gemayel, etc., and he also put the responsibility on Hariri.. Well I say that'd be good riddance, but not sure about its consequences...

Right now I would like to assassinate Wi2am Wahab & Talal Arslan who all of a sudden became lions on an empty field... For heaven's sake, will someone shut them up ??! Especially Talal Arslan, he's really pissing me off right now more than any time before.

MFL , just a note, it wasn't the functional Future TV they burned, but the old building that was not in use.. buildings don't forever maintain their "immunity" because at some point they served as a media center...

didnt you see his face white la lebanessa?

Angry Anarchist, according to Future TV, it was more valuable because their entires archives for the past decades got burnt down to the ashes ... total erasure of them and hence more anger from one side against the other

It's from the Iranian mullahs' cookbook: destroy your strong allies as soon as it is advantageous to do so, lest they make trouble; the weak ones (allies and opponents both) can wait until later. That's how the mullahs offed the Commies in their revolution, isn't that so, MFL?

I cant debate about the Iranian Revolution because the Communists were leading it, and succeeded in establishing 9 mighty Soviets through out Iran whereby women advocated most for such Soviets based on equality. The stalinists had to ruin the Iranian revolution by shoving the communists with Khomeini and the Mujahidean, and eventually Khomeini purged both.

As for Lebanon, Hezbollah general secretary hassan Nasrallah has been quoted over 15 times (at least up to 2005) that his party's strength comes from Vilayat el Faqih; however, Hezbollah's spiritual leader (non-member) Sheikh Fadlallah has been Ayatollah Khamen'ei's rival and enemy for quiet a while. He influenced Hezbollah more. Hezbollah may have proxy war for Iran, but Hezbollah also has over 1/4 of the Lebanese population supporting them (Shiites) which make them also legitimate; however, directing the arms on the Lebanese has breached Nasrallah's words since he represented the Soft-lines.

As for fully making Lebanon Islamist, under nasrallah, I doubt he would go for it since Fadlallah's influence is there; however, under Qassem, things might be different ...
