Ok.. spot the intruder: talal erslein.. something is not right here. Ok. sa3dallah and elias have a communist history in common (still for elias?? ;) ), and considering ur interests about the communist (stalinist/not stalinist - it's not the issue now) party, their presence is logical. bas talal irslein? 7aram ya zalameh.. shou ekil 2abl ma tneim? arnabiyyeh?? :P
my top three hated as politicians are We'am Wahhab, Elias Attallah, and Talal Irslain
And even Sa'adallah I hate him as well, the guy claims to be a communist....like Attallah hiding his right wing affiliation under the banner of the left
Lilianne, you are right :), but that is the problem, I study those things
Personally Angry Anarchist, I am debating with an LF, he is still insisting that Bashir didn't invite the IDF to invade Lebanon ... tomorrow I will hit him with memoirs of Phil Habib.
It just saddens me this dogma that most of the Proletariat live under it refuting to learn their history....
Frankly , I don't think you should call it "debating". You call something a "debate" when there are two sides. As far as I am concerned, talking to a LFer is like talking to a wall. In fact, I would rather 'talk' to a wall than to a LFer. At least a wall would not make the buzzing sound of a fly in your ear, that LFers make. Oh, did I say I love swatting flies?
Ohhh, been there, done that. I'm guessing you are new to this whole "debate" thing with LFers, or you just have extraordinary patience. ;)
Believe me, they do not cause me a headache. I just don't listen to them. They are like flies in my ear. You know, flies are attention-seekers too. And the more you pay attention the more they are encouraged. You either ignore that there is a fly, which is difficult to do after some time, since it just won't go away, or you take a newspaper and swat the fly. I can tell you that the latter is really satisfactory.

MFL, "It just saddens me this dogma that most of the Proletariat live under it refuting to learn their history...."
Learn our history ? I dont get it .. let us assume he did invite them .. what would that prove to u ? how would that change what i think of Bashir ?
You really think All LFers love Bashir because of his M16 pic and his blistering speeches ?
The elites of our community, at least the Christian one were supportive of Bashir, because he had a project for Lebanon and a dream for all Lebanese, they believed in it and i believe in it and Bash died believing in it.
It is not by bringing quotes from some books and memories that we can gonna discredit Bashir from what he achieved.
I still insist that he did not invite IDF in, i repeat IDF didnt need an invitation to go in.
I ve had a debate with Anarchist before, it doesnt take much for him to get irritated and start the insults .. sad.
N., just give me couple of days to get you those memoirs of the officials my friend, I do not invent things :) and it was perfectly co-ordinated, and btw in case you do not know, Ariel Sharon visited Bashir in East Beirut in 1981 ( I am speaking history and not attempting to do insults :) ) and prior to that he showed Phil. Habib maps of detailed Beirut explaining the link-up, sorry N. but that is the fact on the matter.
But for the fact of Christians supporting Bashir's entire project (and not all the elites), that should tell you something, specially that his plan to divide Lebanon into five, and the Christians taking over three of the richest and moreover none of the areas are responsible for the other (no common budget and fairer distribution) so the plan was not for a single unified Lebanon N. (again for history's sake and discussion)
I am not discrediting anyone, I am putting history my friend. I used to be biased to a certain group, and eventually despise all groups due to learn history in a proper manner :), I call the process uneducating oneself.
And if I told you and introduced you to 6 ex-LF extremists who became red comrades, would you believe me :P That's sad. Someone who hails from such an extremist background like support for LF espousing something like Marxism, which offers nothing except talk ("blah blah blah", then... "we're waiting for the big revolution" - you might as well start believing in the messiah) and no achievement, is bound to change back. Now if someone went from LF to militant anarchism, that would be understandable. :-D Sorry to disappoint, Marxism is not extremist (or revolutionary) enough for my tastes. :P
By the way, I did not make any reference to sect. Let us not fall into the trap of anti-sectarianism-phobia. :) I'd say the same for anyone who follows a mass-murderer.
it doesnt take much for him to get irritated and start the insults .. Ohh, you really want to see me irritated?! Hahaha... Are you sure?!??! Please, tell me you don't. Not even the police would want to. :-D
Oh, and I'm a SHE not a he. How's THAT for a woman kicking your pathetic extremist arse. :D Oh, sorry, go on, now you have to put up more pics of Bashir carrying M-16s, cos that would make you feel like... so powerful and ... manly.

And I believe that we can change Anarchist :)
Afterall without real interaction and debates we can't, even though a lot of their members bring me sometimes headaches :P

Oops, sorry about the double post. My internet kinda went gay on me for a split second.
And if I told you and introduced you to 6 ex-LF extremists who became red comrades, would you believe me :P
Just let us not differentiate, a Proletariat whether Shiite or Maronite or whatever sect can be emancipated dearest Anarchist :)
phew, the dream didn't return :)

Oh is that true :P
You mean those who gather up in events and smash everything? :)
Admit it Anarchist, you are deep inside (somewhere deep though) a Marxist :P
Marx looks from the sky above towards you and smiles :P:P:P
MFL
And Anarchist, it is us who are being organized in Interationals while the so called Anarchists just wait for an event and go down trashing :)
