Respect For Palestinian Refugees

For the honor of the Palestinians non-militias/civilians stuck in Nahr el Bared between Lebanese Army Artillary and brutal terrorist organization... if only I can help those poor civilians... most of the people seem to have forgotten about them

Not sure if you've seen this blog:
http://palestine-4us.blogspot.com/

I have to say that what the Lebanese Army is doing -- the indiscriminate bombing, the siege on food & medical supplies, the "hiding among civilians" excuse - is eerily similar to what the IDF did in Lebanon last summer.

Go ahead and put something on my blog, even a few words like this.

Hard to prove if Syria is behind this.

As usual Palestinians are caught in the middle.

they didn't forget..they just don't care..or actually they want this and the excuse: "ma henne aslan mabaddon yetla3o, baddon ye7mo fat7 el islam b 7alon!"

this notion of "honor" bafles me.

what honor? why did you choose that word? Did these Palestinians ever have honor? Do you have honor? What are you talking about?

"For the 'honor' of the Palestinian refugees" ...

sentimental, yes

heart-felt, maybe

childish, somewhat

I agree with NightS, this is deliberate, it is not about the terrorist anymore, it is about the existence of the Palestinians in Lebanon, it is about a racist policy, the Palestinians offered FULL cooperation with the Lebanese army but the honorable latter refused, they want to BOMB 40 thousand people for the sake of 300, for the security of ABC and Verdun! This is disgusting and shameful, and this only adds to the twisted sense of the Lebanese government and the some Lebanese who are clapping for the bombing the already damaged camp!

MFL,
I'm not sure if you'd know the anwser to this, but are armed palestinian security forces in the camps fighting fatah-al-islam from inside or not? I'm unclear why they wouldn't be. Do you have any information about this? The Lebanese army aren't allowed in the camps and the palestinans run their own security in there. Are they fighting from the inside or not? It would lessen the civilian palestinian and lebanse army casualties if they could route the evil out from the inside.

I've written something about this issue on my blog. It is too long to publish as a comment. :-)

Golaniya.. i'm sorry but i think you're sentimental and not rational... as much as i appreciate sentiment, but how the hell do u consider the army to bomb 30,000? have u seen the death toll to conclude the army's acts? and what exactly did the Palestinian cooperation provide? Everytime the army stopped shooting based on the agreements the parties promised of, the islamists hit back and progressed to new locations. now tell me.. who's taking the civilians hostage here? oh... and i am not defending the government's logic.. i am the first critic of the whole lebanese polity... but what is that logic u dislike? keeping law and order? tell me... in the past 20 years.. what has the Palestinian military presence achieved but reaping palestinian blood? oh.. and one would only be humanitarian and pro the cause by allowing palestinians to bare arms??
Passion should be put in the right place.. I loathe those who have been stealing off Palestinian support money. I personally administered a 5 million dollar aid program to palestinian schools and hospitals and i spent the whole project trying desparately to prevent so-called "representatives" from putting their hands on the money!

Guys: Death Toll: Official Red Cross Report:
56 dead - only 4 civilians - 3 of the civilians were found WITH the militanst in the same positions they controlled.
I salut the lives of the civilians who died in vain. I also stand in solidarity with those caught in the middle of this and under disastrous conditions. I extend my solidarity to all Palestinian refugees and pledge to support their right to their homes to the day i die.

"Civilians who died in vain"?

Ya 7aram.

So you would not salute the civilians who died for a "reason"?

Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.

Well done.

I gotta love how some anarchists who live in a virtual world shove words in other people's mouths...

typically an anarchist who just issues silly fatwas, yalla go write another post on that one too

Counterpunch
is reporting that the US (along with Walid Jumblatt, Samir Geagea and Saad Hariri) are behind the funding of FAI. They are to counter Hezbollah's influence. Sy Hersch reported this a few months back. interesting.

I read the article from day 1 it was released, problem is that Fatah el Islam can't click with that. There are too many evidences that wouldn't stick to harriri, different suspects are there.

For starters, Fatah Islam and Hezbollah didn't go head to head with each other (probably because Hezbollah can annhilate them).

Second, Fatah el Islam (my latest article I am writing btw) are Salafis, while Harriri's allies are Wahhabis. Qa'eda are a merge of both.

I am tackling it one by one :)

How about, in the name of solidarity, allowing them to own land and have decent jobs in Lebanon? Do you want what is best for the Palestinians, or do you want what is best for the greater Arab world, regardless of how much that hurts the Palestinians?

It reminds of people who support the right of homeless people to live in nice shelters, but then kick and scream if the government tries to put up a shelter next door. It is easy to talk the talk, especially if somebody else will suffer for your ideals.

Shall we call it "anarcho-fatwa" ? :-P
