Welcome to my blog, andI hope to see ...Dear Ilona

Welcome to my blog, andI hope to see you here more often

To say Arabs have 23 countries is the same as saying that the Europeans have X amount of countries. Egypt for example is different than Lebanon or Egypt or the sort. Actually, some Arabs from different countries sometimes need English or French to understand each other (depends on which country they are coming). Hence, Palestinians came from Palestine, and they were ethnically cleansed from their homes, their rights (for those who remain there) are taken away, and Israel still attempts to delete their existance.

Furthermore, Arabs weren't fighting Jews. Arabs co-existed with each other all the time, while the real ones who fought the Jews, created pogroms, trashed them, were the Europeans. As far as I remember, even Shakespeare refered to the Jews as a menace in Europe (Merchant of Venice). There was not one problem between us. As a matter of fact, Jews, Muslims, and Christians, prior to the arrival of Zionism to Palestine, were co-existed with the Arab Jews in Palestine refering to themselves as Palestinians.

You cannot eliminate an entire people called the Palestinians, and deny their history, under the logic of pre-emptive strikes. As far as we remember, most of the Jews who came to Palestine in the 1920s-1940s aren't even part of the Diaspora, ie, they converted outside Palestine of the past (check Shlomo Sands: Invention of the Jewish Identity) and Yossi Shwartz's Origin of the Jews. Further more, the facts are Israel continues to kill Palestinians (under the banner of self-defense). For example, most people neglect that the latest Gaza war (whereby 5000 palestinians perished) took place after Israel formed a siege, and even banned fuel (whereby over 82 Palestinians died).

The Arabs had nothing against the Jews, unless you want to refer to Sheikh Husseini, he never represented the Palestinian opinion, and mind you both the Zionists and the Palestinians sought deals with them, with the former doing more deals with them on more important issues.

Last but not least, please always keep in mind that the on-going slaughter continues (culture and identity and body) of the Palestinians on daily basis, Israel got away with its attrocities of 1948 (please read Ilan Pape: The Ethnic Cleansing of the Palestinians).

Hope to see you back to my blog,
Best Regards
MFLMarxistFromLebanonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02742943269564177293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24861026.post-2238764090659497122009-12-20T16:17:58.922+02:002009-12-20T16:17:58.922+02:00*the question of Palestine is no longer a politica...*the question of Palestine is no longer a political topic, it is a humanitarian issue of a people fighting for their existence.... it is an on-going genocide*-what do you call genocide? i can say the same. arab wrold dream to stop the very existence of jews all over the world we fight to live we fight to have our country while arabs have 23 countries.ilona@israelhttp://samsonblinded.org/news/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24861026.post-30841406801369055952009-12-14T20:32:28.615+02:002009-12-14T20:32:28.615+02:00Renegade,

If you fight Israel as an apartheid state, it liquidates the national question and becomes a civil rights struggle. That may be a correct strategy.

I think Israel fears the Palestinian question turning into a civil rights battle.Frank Partisanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03536211653082893030noreply@blogger.com
